OvGME is a manager of game mods (and not only), based on the idea and concept of JSGME, he inherits the acronym GME from JSGME, which means Generic Mod Enabler (Universal Modulator).
The main goal of OvGME is to provide an easy way to import, install, delete and create mods with an automatic backup system that restore the source files when mods are deleted. OvGME also provides a mechanism for network repositories that allows users to use web repositories to retrieve, update, or synchronize online mods.
The principle of OvGME is based on comparing the file tree (structure) of the target folders with the file tree of the mod.
Based on the comparison results, the program determines which files to replace, create and save as backup files.
